A former wine and oil warehouse, now known as the Center for Contemporary Society and Culture in Bilbao, Azkuna Zentroa will host the first edition of Experience Builders, where attendees will experience the impressive multi-use building designed by Frenchman Philippe Starck. In addition to attending the presentations at the venue, we recommend you to sign up for their free guided tours and check their agenda. Of course, if there is one thing that has influenced the international reputation of the city, it’s a museum that every year attracts tourists from all over the world: the famous Guggenheim.
Frank Gehry’s impressive architecture has a lot to do with its fame, which is in itself a reason to visit. Inside you will find masterpieces of contemporary art with temporary exhibitions of world-class artists. And on the outside, Jeff Koons’ floral dog (Puppy), originally created for the opening of the museum, remains standing as a faithful guardian of the area. Don’t forget the impressive Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, one of the most important in the country, with more than 7,000 pieces and a century of history. El Greco, Sorolla, Gaughin and Zurbarán await you in the beautiful halls.
